As often happens, when a project is completed in a building with further floors to be occupied, following the success of Simmons Cooper Andrew on the 12th Floor, James Morton Associates were invited to design and fit-out the 6th Floor for No 5 Chambers - a prestigious and well-known Midlands-based Barristers Chambers, expanding their presence in London.

Having seen the quality of the 12th Floor, No 5 Chambers wanted to create a similar environment in the own space particularly as they anticipated a large number of visitors, so the Reception/Holding Area was of particular importance, together with the Boardroom and Meeting Rooms.

Full height silicone-jointed glazing was specified throughout, together with glass doors and a bespoke StorageWall with individually-sized pigeon holes was created for the substantial storage requirement needs of the Barristers.

The Reception was given a feature lowered ceiling with downlighters, and a custom-built audio-visual Presentation unit in wood veneer was built for the Boardroom.

One of the most visually striking projects – among many – completed by the JMA team!

Once again, a complete suite of Reception, Office and Meeting Room furniture was supplied by JMA partner - Task Systems.
